역사란 무엇인가?

What is History?

E. H. Carr wrote a whole book in an attempt to answer it.

 

History "refers to the events of the past themselves or to the record of events of the past."

 

History is "all we know about everything man has ever done, or thought, or hoped, or felt,"

"the totality of remembered events that have emerged in connection with the life of man on earth."

 

It is "the memory of persons and situations which mankind wil not surrender to oblivion,"

"the significant narrative of the human past,"

"the record of what one age finds worthy of note one another."

 

 

1) 성경은 어떻게 하나님과 사람이 서로 연관되어 살아왔는지에 대한 기록으로 가득 차 있다.

Bible gives us a record of how man and God interected with each other in the past.

And from that interection we extrapolate certain principles in which we can base our present situations. 그 상호관계의 기록에서 우리가 처한 현재의 상황에 맞는 원리를 추론하는 것이다.

 

옛날을 기억하라 역대의 연대를 생각하라 네 아비에게 물으라 그가 네게 설명할 것이요
